**Company Description**

IPS - a part of Culina group is the largest co-packer in the UK, working with some of the best-known food brands to provide cost-effective and innovative co-packing, co-filling and co-manufacturing solutions.

We are currently recruiting for a **Supply Chain Planner** to join our IPS site in **St Helens**, on a full time and permanent basis.

**Shift**: Monday - Friday

**Salary**: £26,000 to £29,000
- To monitor and order, ingredients and packaging, so Production may efficiently achieve Customer requirements.
- Expediting or delaying orders as required.
- Liaise with customers/suppliers
- Vision data management, e.g., creation of stock codes, BOMs, stocking levels etc.
- Coordinate all departments to ensure new projects / SKUs launch successfully.
- Work closely with Planning to schedule the planning of production
- Communicate with Customers to advise any issues and manage their expectations accordingly.
- Responsible for booking in of vehicles for Warehouse
- Be actively involved in the process of internal auditing.
- Control purchase orders for goods
- Maintain good records and procedures for the management of procurement and purchasing.
- Perform stock reconciliations and stock balances, reporting results internally and to customers.
- Work with Engineering on stock takes
- Undertake internal training and development activities.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced customer driven environment.
- Previous knowledge in running/actioning MRP, planning, logistics and production supply
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Positive attitude.
- Excellent attitude towards providing customer service standards.
- Flexible approach to change
