Cedar have been retained by a global leader in the FMCG space who are seeking to appoint a Sustainability Finance Manager for their brand-new global HQ in central London.
Our client has a huge international presence and is ranked in the top 20 most sustainable businesses in the world They have recently moved into new swanky offices in the heart of London and are known for having a great work-life balance, flexible workingand an inclusive and meritocratic culture.
As Finance Manager for Sustainability, you will take ownership for the implementation of projects focused on alignment and integration of Sustainability & Finance such as Net Zero transition strategy, ESG data assurance, Climate or Sustainable Finance andIntegrated Reporting.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify and execute innovative projects - related to TCFD, Net Zero, Green Finance, ESG data assurance, Carbon Pricing and Environment Impact valuation
- Partner with cross-function teams across the world - collecting and analysing relevant sustainability data
- Assist in the delivery of strategic value-add projects to various business units as well as the Finance function - supporting purpose of reimaging agriculture and supply chains
- Review new / current initiatives related to Sustainability & Finance
To succeed in this role you will need:
- Extensive experience in External Sustainability / ESG reporting / TCFD / Climate / Green Finance
- Big 4 experience (can be current or prior)
- An understanding of financial statements
- An awareness of relevant sustainability guidelines and a genuine passion for sustainability
