**Location: People Services**

**Hours: 37 hours a week**

**Contract type: Permanent**

**Location: The Council House**

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with mental health experience to join our service. You will assist with the provision of support to Customers who are seeking to develop their skills and abilities to live independent lives, building on their own strengths, goals and social capital.

Applicants must have experience of working with people with mental health conditions/vulnerable adults/people with physical disabilities. Experience in any comparable setting or as a carer will also be considered. You will have experience of promoting social justice and self-determination and be able to support people to build personal resilience to develop and sustain a good life.

Our service is committed to safeguarding and promoting positive change for the lives of adult’s receiving mental health support. As a member of the team, the post holder will be required to share this commitment and vision.

You will also be expected to take part in a duty rota supporting the duty worker, triaging referrals into the services and signposting to appropriate services.

We offer an extensive range of employee support and regular supervision.
