The IDAM Solution Designer (SD) is accountable to the Domain Lead for designing Identity and Access management solutions to ensure good functionality, security, resilience, and performance of the systems. The SD is the technical authority to Identity system development and deployment within the CCS Engineering Domain and will advise and collaborate with colleagues in architecture, build and operations teams to ensure the CCS Engineering Domain continues to deliver high levels of quality and service to internal stakeholders. The SD will contribute to design and development work on the systems, working collaboratively with onshore and offshore development teams and will advise senior management within the domain to help drive continuous improvement to Domain function and services and to shape Domain technical strategy.

**What will you be doing?**
- Domain authority Identity and Access management solutions, advising architecture, build and operations staff within the domain on correct configuration, deployment and usage of the systems
- Accountable to the Domain Lead to plan good functional and non-functional behavior of the platform. Plan and build designers for optimized solutions, security, capacity and performance. Assess technical risks and issues on the systems. Work with operations and build team colleagues to ensure resolution of technical issues in a timely manner.
- Advise Integration Domain colleagues on effective design and implementation on the systems during software design and build.
- Contribute to design and development on the Siebel platform, collaborating with onshore and offshore designers and developers
- Work together with others in the management team to ensure good quality and good value is delivered by the Domain to Vodafone stakeholders and drive continuous improvement of team development practices.
- Direct engagement with Domain delivery partners at a Technical level working with Technical Leads, Designers and Developers.
- Close co-operation with the Business, IT and Technology Architecture & Design community across Vodafone.
- Expectation management with all internal Vodafone and external supplier senior stakeholders.
- Succinct, meaningful communication that commands respect and confidence that allow rapid and informed decision making at all levels

**Who are we looking for?**
- Proven background in Oracle Identity and access management including support of IDAM products such as Single Sign On and Multi Factor Authentication.
- Good experience and knowledge on Federation platforms such as Azure AD, RSA.
- Excellent working knowledge on authentication protocols such as OIDC, SAML and OAuth.
- Good knowledge on cyber security solutions.
- Good understanding and working experience on cloud and physical architectures for IDAM solutions.
- Ability to communicate effectively within a large software engineering team and influence a wide group of internal stakeholders. Experience of working successfully with external delivery teams.
- Good general software engineering and problem-solving skills.
- Degree or higher degree in software engineering or related technical discipline
- Good working knowledge in Oracle IDAM and SSO, MFA authentication.
- Good working knowledge on Identity federation services.
- Ability to quickly assimilate technical knowledge from outside own area of expertise
