ABOUT THE ROLE
We are hiring a Project Co-Ordinator to join the Homes Team and support our delivery of repairing our empty homes. Key tasks will include:
- To be the council’s representative on site
- Inspecting repair works and comparing it with the specification.
- Measuring and quality checking repair works
- Identifying defects and suggesting ways to correct them
- Recording and updating databases
- Monitoring progress and reporting to managers
- Communicate both verbally and written with contractors and surveyors
- Support the team to meet turnaround targets
- Photocopying and scanning documents
- Install security key safes
ABOUT YOU
- at least one construction trade qualification of Level 3 or above
- experience of construction materials, techniques and working with contractors
- excellent observation skills and to be able to pay attention to detail
- a broad knowledge of the construction industry covering materials, trades, building methods and legal requirements
- good analytical skills
- good the time management and prioritising skills to ensure deadlines are met
- excellent communication skills
