Job Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity to join our finance team as we are seeking 2 motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join us at East Staffordshire Borough Council as an AAT Level 3 Apprentice to support the day to day delivery of financial support to the Council.
This apprenticeship is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands on finance experience whilst studying to achieve the Association of Accounting Technicians qualification (AAT).
There may also be an opportunity to support other areas of financial provision, including treasury management, capital accounting/monitoring and financial system support/maintenance.
We are looking for somebody who has:
- Great interpersonal skills
- Experience of being part of a team
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Meet the entry requirements for the apprenticeship - achieved GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or higher and a level 2 Accounting Technician or equivalent (e.g. A level Accounting)
During the apprenticeship, you will:
- Work alongside experienced staff
- Gain job-specific skills
- Earn a wage and get holiday pay
- Have funded study towards an AAT qualification.
