DeepOcean has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Tender Estimator to join our team

As a Senior Tender Estimator you will be a part of the Finance Department and you will support the Commercial Team in the Offshore Renewable department. Your main responsibilities will be to gather, consolidate/evaluate, and produce cost estimates for tenders and studies within DeepOcean’s guidelines and procedures. The position can be based in either Haugesund, Bergen, Stavanger or Aberdeen.

DeepOcean has over 20 years' experience from providing subsea infrastructure services, solutions and technology. We are rapidly expanding into the Offshore Renewables segment and also joining market leading industry alliances such as the Windstaller Alliance together with Aker Solutions and Solstad.

In this growing market we are looking to strengthen our team supporting the Offshore Renewable segment for inter-array cable-lay and seabed intervention services, by expanding the team with a team-oriented Senior Tender Estimator with a can-do attitude who wants to join a fun, fast-paced and professional working environment.

**Responsibilities**:
The Tender Estimator will among other things have the following duties and responsibilities:
Prepare cost estimates in accordance with standard DeepOcean CBS and Client requirements.
Deliver tender documentation and investment analysis for commercial decision making.
Review, evaluate and complete client provided Commercial/Remuneration & Exhibits.
Produce Cost Plans and Cash Flow Forecasts for applicable tenders.
Provide input to CRM system in form of costing and selling price for the ongoing tenders.
Organise and run relevant cost review meetings as required during the tender period.
Provide and present cost/pricing basis at Tenderboards.
Support in developing cost/risk analyses.
Provide costing support and monitor cost impacts during bid clarifications and negotiation meetings.
Gather experience figures and maintain the Benchmark Database.
Conduct handover with project team and follow up/support during project execution to ensure feedback.
Support project organisation with estimating on ongoing projects.

**Qualifications**:
3-4 years of broad experience of delivering Tender Estimates on various types and size of projects.
Advanced MS Excel competence is essential.
Higher Education Degree/Master/Bachelor (or equivalent) in engineering/finance.
Experience with renewables sector is preferable.
Experience/background from project controls is an advantage.
Able to demonstrate financial competence and commercial/contractual knowledge.
