MBA are looking for a Vehicle Technician to work out of our client's prestigious Automotive Retail Centre in Manchester. This would be a perfect role for a Technician who is looking to work with premium brands at an ever-evolving company.
The client is a family run business and first started selling cars in 1960 and since then have sold and repaired cars and bikes across multiple locations in the North West. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for both minor and major repairs, MOTs(if required), ordering relevant parts and completing the work to the highest of standards.
In return, the Vehicle Technician can expect a salary of £31,000, with an OTE of £35,000. There's also 22 days paid annual leave which increases on length of service, Company Pension Scheme, Life Assurance, Employee Reward & Recognition Schemes, Social Events,Staff Discounts, Subsidised Car Schemes and Employee Wellbeing Initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Major and Minor Repairs
- Fault finding and diagnosis
- Working towards efficiency and productivity targets
- Completing road tests with customers
- Liaising with other depts. within the centre ensuring all are kept up to date Completing MOT's on customer vehicles (if you have a MOT licence)
Skills & Requirements
- Experienced & Qualified Vehicle Technician (NVQ L3 or equivalent)
- Has carried out both major and minor repairs
- Strong work ethic and approach to efficiency and productivity
- Passionate about the automotive industry
- Keen to learn and develop
