**The Role**:
Northumbria Police is looking for a digital Test Analyst to create test strategy, scripts and plans in line with the standards set by the Force’s Test Manager. The role will involve performing system integration and regression testing of new and upgradedsolutions, both internally developed and third party procured.
Applicants will need to demonstrate their experience of system testing and quality assurance together with strong problem-solving skills. They will also have to demonstrate excellent teamwork and communication skills as they will be expected to work withina team consisting of end users, development resource and external /contract staff. The successful applicant will be contributing to new critical solutions and change requests using appropriate testing standards and methodologies, including agile delivery methodologiesin line with demanding time constraints to deliver to a high standard.
**What will I be doing?**
- You will ensure integrity and quality of digital solutions through effective system, integration and regression testing of delivered products and solutions.
- You will design test strategies and produce test plans and scripts to support the testing phases of technical change delivery.
- You will support end users with the delivery of UAT and will also offer advice and guidance to colleagues with regarding to technical test delivery, documentation and best practice.

Applicants must be a resident of the UK for a minimum period of 3 years to ensure vetting checks can be successfully performed. A job offer will be dependent upon vetting clearance, medical information and references.
