Job Title: Technical Administrator

Hours of Work: Full-time 37 hours (day shift)

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Technical Administrator to join our team, the role demands accuracy, diligence, resilience and would suit a self-motivated individual.

**FTV Proclad International Limited **is a worldwide market and technological leader in the protective weld cladding of pipeline components.

**Due to our current success in securing orders, we are currently looking to recruit **a Technical Administrator** to join our team at our Glenrothes facility. A market competitive wage will be offered depending on experience. Benefits of employment include 33 days holiday per year on a pro-rata basis (including public holidays), an employer pension contribution of 5% of salary and life assurance.**

**Outline of Role and Responsibilities**

As part of the technical department, the individual will receive any relevant training that may be required and assume the following duties, the list is not exhaustive.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**

Ø Taking and distributing minutes of meetings.

Ø Being proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Ø Dealing with suppliers and internal enquiries.

Ø Building good supplier relations and attending customer meetings where applicable.

Ø Sourcing services from suppliers to support contract requirements.

Ø Gain a clear understanding of customers’ business requirements.

Ø Interpreting Engineering Drawings and Material Take Offs.

Ø Visual Manufacturing System Training and awareness of how the system operates.

Ø Supporting Technical Manager with internal / external customer visits and company presentations where and if required.

Ø Assist technical Manager in Conducting Contract Reviews and coordinate communication between departments.

Ø Having a technical knowledge/background is a plus, but not a necessity, training will be provided.

**Flexibility**

To deliver services effectively, a degree of flexibility is needed, and the post holder may be required to perform work not specifically referred to above.

Ø Able to work effectively under pressure.

Ø Able to organise and prioritise tasks accordingly.
