Our client are a national company and are situated in prestigious offices in the heart of Bracknell. Reporting to the Senior Demand Planner this role will involve looking after the inbound and outbound planning process for a category division. Working crossfunctionally with the entire Supply Chain team, Commercial and Space Planning to actively manage external purchases. Ensuring that stock is booked into the system on time ready for store allocations to be raised allowing correct stock levels for the customer.
- Purchase Orders raised based on the forecast provided by the Senior Demand Planner
- Adhering to SOX process when raising purchase orders.
- Managing the intake plan for the categories and sharing with the Senior Demand Planner
- Liaising with flow planning and WP to ensure the intake is scheduled correctly
- Chasing the supplier for updates if the stock is late and communicating this to all relevant parties
- Weekly meetings with the SDP to understand changes to forecast, category or ranging and providing relevant insight into the KPIs and supplier performance
- Responsible for forecasting all channels have the correct amount of stock allocated to them i.e. liaising with Ecom team for their input on previous promotional performance
- Ownership of budgets supplied by the Senior Demand Planner. Ensuring spend is within the financial parameters agreed at OTB
- Liaising with the Senior Demand Planner on forecasting budgets in relation to replenishment requirements
- To collect, validate, maintain and store all SKU / Supplier data
- Ensure WP has full visibility of all applicable SKU’s and where appropriate necessary guidance provided
- Provide specific data on Hazardous and Commodity Codes for current stock to allow information to be shared with WP
- Pro-actively work with suppliers to minimize planned impacts on future supply (holiday’s, increased commercial demand, factory shutdown
- Working with suppliers to resolve inbound problems and escalation of any supplier issues to the necessary stakeholders and actively work with category manager to resolve
- Monthly reporting on KPI’s for existing SKUs and new launches
- Weekly meetings with the SDP to understand changes to forecast, category or ranging and providing relevant insight into the KPIs and supplier performance
- Allocations raised for all stores/channels and categories that you are responsible
- Liaising with Walker Park to ensure they are aware of any peaks in demand so that they can plan resource accordingly
- Sims/Orders. Daily review of sims and orders to highlight anomalies. Checks to be done at SKU and store level using history to ascertain if the levels are in line with forecast
- Raising of urgent/ad-hoc Ecom orders if stock is required earlier than the standard delivery schedule
- Liaising with space planning to ensure stock is available for POG changes
- Order cuts. Investigate and analyse why orders have been cut. Escalating this with the wider supply chain team so that the necessary preventative actions are in place going forward
- Liaising with both Senior Demand Planner to ensure the forecast is amended in the instance of a supplier short shipping a delivery.
- Working with space planning to ensure enough stock is available for updates and new centres.
- Liaising with the inbound planner if additional stock is required.
- Liaising with the SDP following the Range Review meeting so that any new lines that need to be allocated are done so in line with live dates

- Solutions driven with an ability to think outside the box
- Understanding the end to end supply chain process
- Previous experience within a similar role
- Excellent organisational skills
- Competent on Excel
- Good communication skills
- Proactive, self-motivated, organised and diligent with an attention to detail
- Good numeracy skills, highly analytical, possessing a strong commercial acumen
- Must demonstrate a strong customer focus
- Good verbal and written presentation skills
