Accounts Payable Clerk

My client is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to work under the Transactions Manager. You will provide end to end support within the team across 3 sites within the UK. **Client Details** My client is a growing FMCG/Manufacturing brand based in the heart of Lancashire. Due to recent acquisitions they now have 4 sites across the UK and they're continuing to grow. **Description** - Process supplier invoices in the operating system,ensuring they are matched to the correct costs. - Querying supplier invoices with the relevant department and ensure that they are resolved in a timely manner. - Maintain a good relationship with suppliers, ensuring they are notified of any queries, in order for speedy resolution. - Reconcile supplier statements and liaise with suppliers in relation to any discrepancies - Manage Purchase Ledger by carrying out weekly aged creditor reports, and clearing all debit balances - Pay all suppliers accurately and within agreed credit terms, issuing supplier remittances. - Ensure all deadlines to month-end process are met. - Maintain Purchase Ledger standing data, and ensure that the necessary checks are made prior to setting up new suppliers. - Provide cover within the Purchase Ledger Team. **Profile** - Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Team-player with good verbal and written communication skills - High levels of data accuracy and attention to detail - Have a positive, "can do" attitude and a desire to learn new tasks **Job Offer
