Specialist Community Public Health Nurse: Health Visitor.
- Full and part time hours available across Shropshire
If you are passionate about promoting health and wellbeing in the under 5’s, keeping the child at the heart of everything you do and have a real ‘can do’ solution focused attitude to your practice, then we would love you to join our health visiting teams in Shropshire.
Successful applicants will join supportive, dedicated Public Health teams delivering universal and targeted support to children under 5 and their families in Shropshire. We employ a variety of methods to engage families and meet health needs, which include virtual contacts via Attend Anywhere for individual and clinic contacts, and we are starting to use it for group sessions with families now too. We use RiO electronic record which facilitates home working for staff, allowing for greater flexibility in working and work life balance. You will therefore need to be a good communicator and work well as part of a team as well as being able to work independently.
All our staff are supported by restorative clinical supervision in order to support the emotional health and wellbeing of our teams. Our teams also have regular safeguarding supervision, regular team meetings and the use of MST to maintain regular contact with each other.
The Trust is a family friendly employer, and we are happy to consider flexible working arrangements wherever possible.
For further information or an informal discussion about posts please contact Ruth Martin, Health Visitor Team Lead on 07805785382.
We proudly offer supportive, inclusive and flexible working options. We enable you to have choices about balancing your working life with commitments outside of work. Our Working Flexibly policy enables you to request a flexible working option that suits you and we have a range of employee networks to help our colleagues be at their best - and find support if they need it.
