Procurement Officer

Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our established, yet innovative client based in West Wiltshire who are looking to recruit a **Procurement Officer**on a permanent basis.
**What you will be doing**:
In this varied role, you will be responsible for ensuring the business sources quality and cost-effective products within set timeframes.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Ensuring materials are planned, ordered, and delivered on time
- Review of BOMs, liaising with production over stock levels and orders
- Sourcing new suppliers and managing existing relationships including negotiating contracts
- Monitoring inventory levels
- Procurement forecasting and reporting
- Management of projects including budgets
**What you will need to succeed**:
- A proven track record in a similar role, ideally gained within manufacturing, construction, or engineering
- Experience of managing a sizeable product portfolio is essential
- Strong numeracy, communication and relationship building skills
- An analytical approach with the ability to solve problems
- Excellent IT skills including with supplier or third-party management software
