Are you passionate about working with Adults and want to use your core skills as a Senior Practitioner Occupational Therapist?
As a lead clinician, we are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and motivated Senior Practitioner Occupational Therapist to undertake complex strength-based assessment, provide expertise to residents of West Sussex, Occupational Therapy assistance andother social care professionals. You will be expected to use evidence-based practice to deliver positive outcomes for residents in West Sussex.
As part of the Occupational Therapy Team, you'll focus on preventing, reducing and delaying the need for care and support; providing advice, information, equipment and adaptation to promote wellbeing and independence. You will ensure that residents, familiesand communities have the right support in place at the right time.
Working alongside the Occupational Therapy Team Manager, you will provide Occupational Therapy expertise, professional supervision and support to colleagues.

**Experience and Skills**
**Key Skills**:
- Expertise in completion of strengths-based assessment (as directed by the Care Act 2014).
- Expertise in developing a person-centred care and support plan with clearly defined outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to provide clear advice and guidance in complex cases, including the ability to use a variety of information technologies.
- Excellent supervision, coaching and mentoring skills to provide development opportunities and direction to team members.
- Ability to prioritise and organise own work and work of others to meet agreed performance expectations.
**Qualifications and/or experience**:
- Diploma / BSc Occupational Therapy or equivalent Occupational Therapy qualification.
- Registration with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience of supervising, coaching and mentoring of staff and students.
