Interim Head of HR Business Partnering

Surrey or London (on a hybrid basis 50:50)

up to £110k plus benefits d.o.e (day rate available inside IR35)

Alexander Lloyd are please to be supporting this growing financial services organisation with the recruitment of an Interim Head of HR Business Partnering, a fixed term contract position based in Surrey or London on a hybrid basis.

As Interim Head of HR Business Partnering, you will provide strategic direction and leadership to the HR Business Partners, and to the wider HR leadership team. Duties include:

- Understand the strategic objectives of each area of the business and work with the HR Director to ensure the HR team have the appropriate capability and experience to support the delivery of the people agenda;
- Align the strategic objectives of areas of responsibility with the strategic HR objectives each year and provide the teams with the support and guidance necessary for them to deliver;
- Understand key risks within the teams and ensure all areas have plans in place to manage and mitigate against the risks;
- Drive the strategic workforce planning agenda to ensure a fit process is created and opportunities are then realised.
- Support wider business projects as and when required, providing specialist HR advice and guidance and be involved in the broader commercial discussions and approvals, as required.;
- Responsible for the efficient delivery of HR partnering and other services to the business; continuously seeking to improve value, professionalism and efficiency;
- Manage, coach and guide direct reports and the wider team, to increase capability and deliver a high quality service against the team, departmental and business objectives.
- As a member of the Senior Management Team, contribute to the formulation and implementation of business strategy, providing direction to line management to ensure achievement of corporate objectives.
- Commercial business knowledge and experience
- Experience of working within Financial Services
- High level of employment law knowledge
- Good understanding of relevant regulatory requirements (SMCR, Solvency II)
- Very good generalist HR knowledge

A very high profile role in both the People function and the wider organisation, you will be able to demonstrate responsibility for HR business partnering teams and be experienced at leading and managing teams. A competitive salary of up to £110k plus benefitsis on offer, depending on experience. Day rate available inside IR35.
