Maidstone, United Kingdom Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust Full time

The Core Clinical Services Division of Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells Hospitals NHS Trust has a vacancy for an administrator to join their busy and friendly team within their Radiology Department.

The Radiology service provides a wide range of services within various imaging modalities, including CT, X-Ray, MRI, Ultrasound Nuclear Medicine and Interventional Procedures. This is an exciting time to be part of radiology with the expansion of our services through the introduction of our community diagnostic centre.

This post would be suitable for someone with a wealth of administration experience, not limited to a healthcare setting, though this would be advantageous.

The ideal applicant must have excellent interpersonal skills, be pleasant and personable with good organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines as part of a team. They should have a desire to expand beyond their current experiences with a willingness to meet new challenges.

We offer a 7-day diagnostic service between 8am to 8pm. Shift pattern will be 7.5 hours, 8am to 8pm on rotation. We aim to be flexible and accommodating. Please contact us if you would like to discuss full time/part time hours.

The post holder will work with a patient centred approach as part of a team providing a high quality of service to patients and staff with particular responsibility for managing appointments for a range of complex Radiology procedures, working within local and national KPIs.

Some reception duties.

Managing telephone queries appropriately..

Work on own initiative and knowledge to prioritise and manage the workload and liaise with radiography and medical leads to escalate service pressures.
