We are currently recruiting a Product Owner to join a global Law firm. This is a Hybrid Monday to Friday role, with a minimum of two to three days (one of these days has to be a Tuesday which is an “IT Team” day) working from their city centre office inBirmingham. You will join a new and rapidly growing team whose focus is to support the delivery and adoption of client facing technology solutions. These technology solutions form a "key strategic value add" service for the firm when winning business as well as now providingan entirely new revenue opportunity altogether via a soon to (potentially) be introduced subscription model, and so this is an exciting time to join what is an increasingly important team within the firm's IT department. The Product Owner role will: - Focus on developing and supporting the Client Legal Knowledge e-learning platform which provides an all-encompassing knowledge hub for the organisations internal users and external clients. - Be expected to encourage innovation through conversations with key internal stakeholders, suppliers, or as a result of your own research of market trends. This will then be translated to introduction / development / enhancement of new or existing mobileApps. The successful Product Owner MUST have: - Experience working in legal or professional services sectors - A strong IT technical ability and proficiency - Demonstrable experience of working with client facing technology platforms and products - A comprehensive knowledge of the external technology environment including relevant trends and opportunities - Confidence and credibility in dealing with internal and external stakeholders with the ability to build lasting and strong relationships - Experience in delivery methodologies like Waterfall and/or Agile and Product Ownership (desirable but not essential) In return, you will receive a salary of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum plus benefits including 26 days holiday plus statutory and the option to buy/sell up to 4, 5% matched pension, life assurance, income protection insurance, private healthcare, discretionarybonus plus more
