**Goods In/Warehouse Operative - Notcutts Ashton Park Garden Centre**

**Part Time - 30 hours available.**

We are looking for an energetic and conscientious Goods In/Warehouse Operative to work within our Notcutts Ashton Park Garden Centre.

**Please note that this role does require a large amount of heavy lifting, both manual and using a forklift, along with computer skills. Also to include some stock control and till/cashier duties.**

**Ideally you will hold a forklift licence, however, this can be gained with training.**
- Hold a valid counter balance forklift licence (This can be gained with training)
- Have previous experience in a similar role, within a retail environment
- Have previous experience of using computerised systems to accurately receive stock items, book stock items in and following procedures
- Be able to unload deliveries in a safe manner, manually and with a forklift, adhering to Health and Safety guidelines
- Be responsible for signing for stock deliveries against driver notes once checked.
- Unload plant deliveries and exchange Danish trolleys over
- Be able to take all stock into the yard and retail areas
- Prepare stock for the retail Garden Centre shop floor
- Have a positive 'Can do' attitude.
- Be able to work effectively and in an orderly manner as part of a team and on their own.
