**Role**: Warehouse Operator
**Location**: Ashton Under Lyne
**Hours**: 38 hours per week
Week 1 - Monday to Thursday 6am-2pm Friday 6am-12pm
Week 2 - Monday to Thursday 10am-6pm Friday 10am-4pm
Description of the role
Warehouse Operator at Ashton Under Lyne
**Role Responsibilities**:
Keeping a clean and safe work area and working safely.
Report any safety opportunities to Supervisor.
Ensure correct safe stacking and storage of all materials on site
Manage the finished goods areas to ensure that the correct materials are stored safely and accurately
Follow all Company procedures.
Complete FLT Safe start up checks daily and record.
Ensure that internal base paper stock movement documents are completed daily.
Ensure the correct quantity and quality of all Goods In materials and report any issues.
Ensure the correct quantity and quality of all Goods Out orders are loaded and report any issues.
Ensure that all loading and unloading activities are carried out safely - awareness of surroundings.
Ensure that all External Shutter doors are kept closed when not in use - Site Security.
SAP stock control duties - Stock checks/Receipting Raw Material Stocks/Stock adjustments.
Liaise with Planning Manager and Supervisors to ensure correct raw materials are supplied to each department.
Liaise with Customer Services as required regarding Goods In and Goods out requirements.
Liaise with Purchasing Manager and Supervisors regarding any low stocks of raw materials.
Manage all internal skip waste movements as required.
Training and supporting operatives as required in the business as per skill set.
COSHH Training
IOSH Training to assist with Risk Assessment and other Safety activities
