Accounts Assistant

Our client is a successful business which has experienced continued growth and success over recent years.
Following a promotion, they are now recruiting for someone to join their small transactional team.
Working in a busy and varied role, and reporting into the supervisor, your duties will include
- Scanning, coding and posting purchase ledger invoices, and gaining authorisation
- Preparing BACS runs for approval
- Raising sales invoices, producing and sending EDI files for transmission
- Allocating of receipts to ledge
- Assisting Supervisor with credit control
- Reconciliations
- Maintaining spreadsheets and weekly discrepancy reporting
- Ad-hoc duties as required
Whilst experience in a similar role would be desirable, if you have some exposure to accounts and are looking for your next step, then training will be given.
Ideally studying towards your AAT, this role represents a great opportunity for someone to enjoy and all-round position in a business that looks after its staff.
