A Telecommunications antenna electronics business requires a Electronics Test Manager who will lead the design and implementation of Test solutions as the company transitions from research and development into a Manufacturing. Before going into full high-volumemanufacturing, the product prototypes need to be validated and verification testing
Your role as an Electronics Test Manager will be to design test equipment to verify and validate initially prototypes, as the design matures this will transition into high volume manufacture and introduction of additional product variants
In this role you will be working with a small sized start up R&D team.
**Skills and Experience of the Electronics Test Manager**:

- Experience in Designing Electronic test solutions to validate and verify electronic products from PCBA, Sub assembly testing and full product validation
- Experience in taking Prototypes to manufacture
- Understanding of analogue, digital and RF circuitry
- Design of Full test jigs
- Testing at component, assembly and system level
- Able to work closely with the R&D and manufacturing members

**Role**:

- Development of testing strategies
- Design & purchase of automated test jigs and fixtures
- Optimising test solution increasing manufacturing throughput and quality improvements
- Implementation of an SQL data base for uploading and tracking test results ensuring trace-ability of calibration
- Working closely with the development team in fault finding and diagnosing issues
- Lead the testing activity and build a team
- Ability to liaise with subcontract manufacturers ensuring that the correct testing solution as put in place
- Development and documentation of test plans
