**Responsibilities of our **Regional Estates Manager** include**:

- Ensure the academies within the allocated campus comply with current legislation in terms of building management, health and
safety, statutory testing of systems / equipment, and that accurate records are kept.
- Devise and manage building maintenance programmes including obtaining quotes, liaising with contractors / external agencies, and
overseeing projects to completion.
- Oversee security arrangements for buildings, facilities and grounds.
- Monitor the operation of all premises-related mechanical, electrical, heating and water systems and other plant.
- Ensure appropriate records are maintained in compliance with legal requirements and that a central log of risk assessment and
accident management for Estates is in place.
- Oversee the maintenance of specialist equipment, check for quality / safety, undertake specialist repairs / modifications within own
capabilities, and arrange for other repairs / modifications to be carried out by others.
- Support the Head of Estates with capital and large projects in line with financial and Construction (Design and Management)
Regulations (CDM).
