Quality Auditor

The Quality Auditor will be working as part of the Technical Team, preventing errors in manufacturing or production that led to product defects. You will be responsible for ensuring that all quality checks are carried out to the correct customer specification and any non-conformance's are reported immediately to the relevant Section Manager as well as ensure due diligence, product safety and quality in all relevant departments.
**_Key responsibilities will include: _**
- Raw material quality checks.
- To input data onto an online paperless system
- Paperwork checks (traceability) - ensure all paperwork is completed fully, in line with company procedures and legal requirements
- Verify label placement and information accuracy.
- To ensure that the factory is complying with HACCP procedures and specifications, assessing quality, reporting any discrepancies where necessary
- To carry out critical control point (CCP) checks & some CP checks
- Completing paperwork to a high level of accuracy to record daily QA tasks and audits.
- Identifying and reporting any quality, food safety or compliance issues to QA Team Leader and QA Manager
- Daily checks of factory processes and procedures to ensure compliance and good manufacturing practices are adhered to.
- Investigate complaints and solve issues raised taking the relevant corrective action
- To perform organoleptic panels and microbiological sampling, which involves collecting and collating samples
- To make sure all product is checked correctly, and documents completed accurately
- To adhere to company rules and regulations
- To carry out the required function correctly and effectively, once trained to do so
- Assist with all safe-working practices, halting any unsafe working practices
- To ensure that photographic standards are adhered to and that customer specifications are followed.
- To undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required for the effective operation of production.
- To undertake QA Team Leader duties during their absence when required
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £10.15 per hour
