**_Family Liaison Officer and SEND Administrator_**

**Salary: £24,000.00 - £28,000.00**

**Hours of Week: 40 per week**

**Contract Type: Term Time Only (Fixed Term Contract - 6 months)**

**Requirements**:

- A good level of academic qualifications including GSCE Maths and English.
- Must be experienced and accomplished in the use of office software including Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook
- Experience of working to tight deadlines and managing conflicting priorities.
- PA Experience
- Good standard of presentation and inter-personal skills both written and oral - able to act as a reliable and effective first point of contact.
- Familiarity with needs of pupils and their parents/carers

**As a Family Liaison Officer and SEND Administrator you will**:

- Maintain and develop personnel services that will support the school in maintaining excellent human resource practice, statutory requirements and its obligations to staff.
- Maintain and manage the Purchase Ledger system and petty cash process, as required by Young Foundations.
- Liaise professionally with external agencies such as Housing, NSPCC, Sure Start, Social Care, Early Intervention Teams, Passenger Transport, YOS and Police.
- To act as a point of contact in school for families in need of support and to build effective relationships with families.
- Work alongside SENCO ensuring pre and post meeting paperwork for SEND meetings (Pep & EHCP) is sent to all parties by deadlines and pupil files are kept up to date.
- Promote inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.
- To support the Senior Leaders in identifying possible under attainment and underachievement linked to poor attendance or other barriers external or internal.
