Our client has an exciting opportunity for an **Area Sales Manager** to join their team.

Location: Birmingham

**Salary**: Up to £100K dependent on experience

**About Us**:
Our client is Europe’s leading manufacturer of sustainable materials. They continue to grow, typically double-digit growth year on year, and have ambitious plans to become market leaders in the UK. They are looking to add an Area Sales Manager to their growingteam.

**Area Sales Manager** - Key Responsibilities:

- You will have responsibility to develop and manage a range of customer types in your defined geographical area
- You will follow projects from conception to completion, expected to visit all stakeholders from client and architect/specifier at the early design stages through to merchants and installers towards the end of the process
- Your role will be a mixture of home based, for following up with projects and customers, and field-based, visiting clients and demonstrating technical solutions
- Reporting to the Sales Director or Regional Sales Manager you will have active help and support in the UK and will be accompanied in the field on a regular basis

**Area Sales Manager** - You:

- External sales experience (doesn’t have to be industry specific)
- Stability
- Ability to listen and understand on a technical level
- Good organisational skills
- Self-motivated
- Positive and energetic
- Excellent telephone manner
- Full UK driving licence
