You will join one of our friendly teams providing High Intensity interventions within our IAPT service. We were one of the first IAPT services to launch in England back in 2008. Being in this first wave has allowed us to become very well established and benefit from years of innovation at the forefront of IAPT research and developments - and building strong links with our local communities. We are one of just six NHS IAPT services in England to be accredited under the Accreditation Programme for Psychological Therapy Services in England (APPTS) from the Royal College of Psychiatrists.

**Work bases**:
Slough, Windsor, Maidenhead, Bracknell and Reading

The post holder will be part of an Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) service and will provide High Intensity interventions - Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Clinical Supervision where required, working with clients with Anxiety Disorders and Depression for which CBT is demonstrated to be clinically effective.

In addition to clinical work, you will spend approx. half a day each week carrying out non-clinical duties supporting your manager to meet service objectives and ensure the smooth running of the service including, management of staff, developing new ways of working and ensuring all targets are met.

The post holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equal opportunities.

Working pattern + Service operating hours

The service hours are 8am - 8pm Monday -Thursday and 8am - 5pm Friday.

You will be required to do 4 core hours shifts and one ‘late’ per week (12pm - 8pm) plus an additional evening when covering groups or courses or as required by the service.

Part time hours are available (a minimum of 22.5 per week) and we can offer flexibility on when/how part-time hours are worked. Please let us know your desired working pattern.

**The 4 “must haves” for you to be considered for this role**:
1. Will have a qualification in one of the following at graduate level in counselling/clinical psychology, nursing, social work, occupational therapy, arts therapy or within a psychological therapy.
2. Will be BABCP accredited at provisional level as a minimum
