Children Support Worker

**Are you an SEN TA - SEMH/ASD**
**Are you passionate about working in SEN?**
**Do you have experience of supporting students from 5-17 years old with ASD/SEMH/Challenging behaviours?**
If the answer is Yes, then we could be offering you the opportunity to secure a permanent role within an SEN school based in Warrington. The Provision provides a bespoke curriculum to young people who are not able to access mainstream education. Students have a range of SEND including Social Emotional & Mental Health, Moderate Learning Difficulties and Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Pupils may display challenging behaviour, so excellent behaviour management is essential with knowledge of a range of de-escalation techniques.
**Requirements:
- **
- Experience within SEN (Ideally SEMH / ASD- challenging behaviour).
- **Level 3 teaching assistant/Level 3 qualfications in anything**:
- Experience in a school/care/residential setting.
- Be able to work 8.30-4pm Monday to Friday - Wednesday 8.30-5pm
- Be able to use own initiative and want to help students progress.
- Be willing to be flexible.
**Additional requirements**:
- References confirming suitability for role
- Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
- Eligibility to work in the UK
