Manufacturing Planner

**Manufacturing Planner FMCG**

The goal is to ensure the smooth and cost-efficient flow of our production operations organising and making sure order promised dates are met.

**Responsibilities**
- Coordinate production workflow for all orders and products, including scheduling customer orders in line with promise dates.
- Reviewing stock levels in the warehouse, and purchasing
- Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
- Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand
- Work closely with warehouse/sales that materials are on site to an IT system.
- Purchasing support and administration
- Assign workers and other staff to particular production operations
- Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
- Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
- Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)
- Prepare reports on production/packing targets, giving feedback to management/sales on what is achieved
- Allocating materials to orders
- Liaising with suppliers, the warehouse and logistics team
- Keep paperwork organized
- **Requirements and skills**
- Proven experience as manufacturing planner ideally in FMCG
- Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
- Experience in MRP II (Manufacturing resource planning)
- Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
- Good at math and statistics
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Working knowledge of Orderwise an advantage.

Hours Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm - office/factory based.

Basic salary - £28000 to£35000 depending on experience

Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
