MMP Consultancy are currently seeking a Design and Quality Manager for an interim contract (Permanent Potential) with a North London housing organisation Salary circa.£280 per day LTD.
Hybrid working 2/3 day split.
Key Duties:

- The quality control of the design and construction of capital building work through:

- scrutiny of design information
- being a key member of the project team
- having a regular presence on various project sites
- regular quality reports and updates
- identifying non-compliances
- addressing the issues with project teams including Project Managers and Employers Agents.
- Helping ensure compliance with:

- The Building Regulations including Part B (Fire Safety)
- Requirements of the Building Safety Regulator
- CDM 2015 and subsequent relevant legislation
- Other relevant legislation including planning, public health and housing acts
- The Greater London Authority's standards including the London Plan Energy Standards and Housing SPG
- Third party obligations including Rights of Light, Party Wall Awards and stats bodies wayleaves
- All other relevant contract documents
- All leading to:

- The enhancement and maintenance of value in built assets
- The maintenance and improvement of resident satisfaction in new developments
Qualifications / Experience
- (Desirable not essential) Have a qualification in a relevant discipline - Project Management, Surveying, Construction Management or Planning - or equivalent by experience
- Solid experience of delivering mixed tenure housing developments with cost time and quality parameters
