Construction Design Quality Manager

Sixty Bricks have retained Panoramic Associates to recruit a Construction, Design & Quality Manager for the Development team. Sixty Bricks is a development company wholly owned by the London Borough of Waltham Forest Council - whose aim is to deliver hundredsof new homes for residents in the area.
Reporting to the Development Director, the Construction, Design & Quality Manager assesses the overall design quality to ensure Sixty Brick's requirements are met throughout the RIBA lifecycle and contribute to the successful delivery of Sixty Bricks Missionand Business Plan priorities.
**Key areas of focus**:
- Ensure that all developments meet the quality standards of both Sixty Bricks and the Client in regard to design, construction and sustainability
- Oversee and ensure that all standard documentation and contractor's proposals comply with all Building safety, regulatory, funding, statutory and company requirements
- Working collaboratively with the company, Client and other stakeholder colleagues to produce, maintain and develop standard documents for design, technical and sustainability requirements.
- Lead on company sustainability plans, BIM requirements, and other design innovations as required.
**Essential experience criteria**:
- Thorough practical experience in assessing the overall design quality of housing development schemes to ensure agreed requirements are complied with
- Thorough practical experience in leading the development and implementation of design guidance that meets Sixty Brick's aspirations
- Significant experience in managing advisory experts
- Demonstrable experience in translating Board and senior stakeholder priorities into practical and deliverable operational plans
- Experience in collaborating and contributing to high-performing teams
- Knowledge of development processes, current planning process legislation, regulations, standards and procedures.
