This exciting opportunity will enable you, as a dynamic and self motivated professional to ensure patient safety underpins the use of medical equipment at our Trust. Working closely with the Medical Device Safety Officer you will be responsible for planning and delivering training, supporting the medical device champions and using a variety of sources to plan and target training. This post is being offered on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. Part time hours may be considered.

To act as a training and information resource for users of medical devices in the Trust in order to reduce risks associated with their use.

To be a member of the Trust’s Medical Device Management Team, working to promote the care and safety of patients, staff and carers, by ensuring that users of medical devices are fully equipped to safely use technology in the fulfilment of their clinical functions.
