Working hours - Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm + 3 in 4 Saturday mornings - full time permanent - see below for more details on the hours

Salary - up to circa £30,000 per annum depending on experience

We are looking for a professional Warehouse person for a well established business in the Wandsworth / Fulham area, SW London area.

The company pride themselves in delivering a first class Customer Service and delivering great products to their customers.

All staff play a vital role working together as a team to accurately provide products with an excellent timely service with profitability as a key target.

We are looking for a hard working, self-motivated and enthusiastic Warehouse Assistant.

You will ideally have some warehouse experience in a similar environment but the most important thing is a great attitude whilst wanting to learn and progress.

You will join a small but busy team of staff within the business.

Responsibilities will include:
Managing stock in and out (to external clients) as well as in store transfers and stock control

Picking and packing

Recycling including WEEE

Completing the paperwork associated with a busy Warehouse

Deliveries, including use of systems, managing external suppliers and van delivery sheets

Stocktaking, including paper processing and cut-off dates

There may also be a necessity to handle calls to and from other branches

Book goods in and out on the computer system

You will be a key member of staff in the warehouse.

Serving customers at the Trade Counter on an ad hoc basis so the ability to deal with customers on a face to face basis is essential

Other duties as required

Job Requirements:
Be physically fit and able to lift heavy loads on occasion

Good communication skills along with the ability to deal with customers

A good understanding of the importance of accuracy

Be organised and able to keep the warehouse in a clean and tidy situation

A professional outlook and a desire to contribute to the team

Additional training and certification will be provided as part of your career development.

Working hours

During the first 12 weeks probationary period your working hours will be

Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm + Saturday mornings 8.30am to 1pm - 44.5 hour week

After 12 weeks you will only do 3 Saturday mornings but still be paid the same annual salary.

Salary - up to circa £30,000 + pension scheme
