**The opportunity as a Depot Customer Assistant**:
You will be the expert on site to ensure that every item has been scanned for tracking and stored correctly to the allocated locker. You will be the first point of contact for customers and drivers collecting goods, meaning time management and delivery of excellent service is crucial in this role.

With a growing number of Partnerships, this role plays a vital part in the success and expansion of making Shift a household name.

**Responsibilities included as a Depot Customer Assistant**:

- Supporting and assisting customers with their collection ensuring that the assigned time slot is met. Answering any queries with positive affect
- Ensuring the effective flow of goods from delivery vehicles to storage units, which will require the use of trolleys. This role may involve some heavy lifting (up to 25kgs) so manual handling training will be provided
- Store fragile goods with diligence
- Updating delivery systems as and when required
- Build relationships with colleagues and drivers to ensure accuracy
- Continually strive to heighten Shifts brand image, through the provision of exceptional customer service
- Using Shift technology to support the tracking of deliveries
- Communicate effectively with the Shift Operations team
- Ensuring that the site is kept in a safe, secure and presentable fashion for both customers and colleagues alike

**What you need to bring**:

- Experience working in a customer service focused role ideally within a storage, warehouse or stock environment
- Comfortable to move large items on trolleys as this role may require some heavy lifting up to 25kg
- Strong communication skills with an ability to manage working relationships with multiple people
- Trustworthy, hard working and enjoys working on site, predominantly as a one-person team with remote support
- Strong time management ethos with high personal standards
- A process driven individual with an eye for detail
- Ability to proactively problem solve
