**SEND Teaching Assistant - Wandsworth**

We are looking to appoint outstanding **SEND Teaching Assistants in Wandsworth **London with experience supporting SEND students. We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate individuals who are hands on and can support students with physical needs, autism, complex needs and provide support to students to reach the best of their abilities. The most important qualities the school is looking for someone who is strong in the academic area, has good communication skills, is willing to learn strategies such as TEACCH, PECs. You will also be responsible for promoting an inclusive learning environment. To be successful for this role you must:

- Have passion, enthusiasm, and willingness to work in SEND Learning environments
- Have knowledge and experience with autism, PMLD students or a strong Care background
- Have worked within the care system to support adults or children.
- Play a significant role in the students learning journey
- Additional training such as manual handling, hoisting, PEG feeding and Tube feeding NOT essential.

**We are recruiting**:
Teaching Assistant for our Primary SEND school in Wandsworth. We are now looking for a Teaching Assistant for a full day with lots of experience working with children with physical disabilities, autism and complex needs. They will require experience and willing to do personal care.

Our schools provides their pupils an inclusive and engaging education environment, supporting students with varied needs such as autism, ADHD, complex needs, PMLD, severe learning difficulties. The schools have a fantastic working ethos where each pupil’s individual abilities are recognised and staff strive to support all their student’s physical, social and emotional development to reach to their full potential. Most students have an Educational Health Care Plan and are encouraged to develop key skills such as communication, independence and physical skills. Having experience in the SEND Education sector or Health care sector will be an advantage where you can utilise your skills and knowledge, however this isn’t essential. This is a fantastic opportunity for highly motivated and nurturing individuals to enhance their skills and experience in SEND and will allow you to develop professionally in your career.
