**Departmental Assistant (Cover Supervisor)**

**Full Time 37 hours, Term Time Only, Permanent**

**NJC8-14 £17,521 - £19,733 Per Annum**

Arnold Hill Spencer Academy are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed departmental assistant to join our team. You will provide supervision for classes when the regular teacher is absent. You will also provide administrative support to one or more of our faculty teams.

This is a responsible role, which will make an important contribution to the school’s improvement programme and will primarily involve taking sole charge of a group of students on short term basis. You will be joining a forward looking and dynamic team which is warm and friendly, but which has high expectations of everyone. The position is an ideal opportunity for someone wishing to pursue a career in education. SAT is an educational charity, Multi-Academy Trust and Sponsor of Academies. We have approaching 18000 children and young people in our academies and employ more than 2500 teachers, leaders and educational support professionals across the East Midlands.
