Job Overview
**Quoting**:
The Quoting and Logistics Co-Ordinator will be assisting in quoting new enquiries and revisions. The majority of quotes are done in a door schedule format by extracting information from architects details.
**Logistics**:
You will be responsible for ensuring orders are due to complete on time (by working with our Project Managers) and deliveries are able to be accepted on site. You will also be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and maintaining positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Experience in a similar role would be beneficial but training will be provided and on going support will also be available.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Generate accurate and timely quotations in response to client requests, ensuring adherence to pricing guidelines, terms, and conditions using excel.
- Keeping customers informed as to when quotes will be returned and discussing details with them where necessary to clarify for the quote.
- Instructing suppliers of urgency to complete
- Negotiating with suppliers and customers to achieve best outcome and ensure customer is a raving fan
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve logistics-related issues and ensure smooth operations making suggestions for action e.g. delay order, split order
- Calling sites and make final confirmation
- Checking that Delivery Notes match Smart Sheet entries
Key Competencies
- Experience in administrative support or a similar role involving quotation preparation and logistics support role.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to handle inquiries and issues related to quotations/deliveries with a solutions
- oriented approach.
- Be confident calling customers to follow up on quotes/book in deliveries
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy and precision in pricing and terms
- Excellent attention to detail
- Be able to multi-task and work to tight deadlines
- A will-do attitude
**Working hours**
Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30. Friday 07:30 - 15:30
