**Web Application Support Engineer (SQL expert)**

Our client, a property price comparison service provider is looking to expand their impressive rapid growing team with a Web Application Support Engineer who is an expert in SQL.

Whilst sitting within the Operational Engineering team, you will be responsible for the provision of 2nd line day-to-day client requests, incident resolution and regular activities across a number of products. You will be a key contact for both externaland internal stakeholders.

Also, you will be involved in project based work, working closely with the Product and Client Engineering teams and playing a key part in upgrading existing systems. Their teams work in an Agile and DevOps environment and there will be many opportunitiesto learn and develop new skills.

You should have a genuine interest in software development, with a strong willingness to learn and an ability to deliver solutions within agreed timelines and to SLAs against a given specification or requirement to a high standard. Ability to identify potentialproblems with systems, analyse issues and identify root causes to enable remediation.

**Requirements**:

- SQL - Experience essential preferably SQL Server and working knowledge of SQL Server databases
- Working Knowledge of software development in Microsoft.NET and C#
- Experience of working with an Incident management system and SLA's
- Agile - use of software methodologies
- Previous experience of working in a fast paced technology environment
- Critical thinking
- Be a great internal and external communicator, both written and verbal
