- What is a Digital Marketing Trainee responsible for?_
A Digital Marketing Trainee is responsible for assisting in the delivery and development of content on digital marketing platforms, as well as MI reporting across digital channels. As part of this experienced team, you’ll be working closely with them on any required tasks and, as you get more confident, taking on your own tasks and workload.
- What are the ongoing responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Trainee - I2020?_- Working closely with Edinburgh-based Digital Manager to deliver digital marketing solutions and website maintenance- Updating and maintaining content on the Martin Currie website and social media channels.-
- Assisting with webpage design and placement of product / strategy-related content or other collateral.- Supporting the Digital Manager on projects, campaigns, and other administrative tasks.- Working closely with Product Specialists to ensure content marketing is delivered as part of an effective and ongoing ‘always on’ strategy.- Assisting with testing for new releases and maintenance of systems.- Supporting MI reporting for digital content.- Supporting the Head of Distribution Change and Client Management on running monthly/quarterly CRM activity reports as well as supporting on the oversight maintenance of client data within the system.- Building collaborative relationships with key stakeholders within Martin Currie, such as the Product Specialist and CPMs, the Investment Floor, and other stakeholders across the broader FT business, and key digital suppliers, with the aim of regular, proactive communication.
- What qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?_- Marketing, investment, or finance related degree or equivalent (desirable)- Strong problem solving, analytical, written, and visual communications skills.- Sound creative judgement.- Strong interest in digital marketing and channels.- Analytical and proactive approach to digital marketing.- Understanding social media platforms.- Strong PowerPoint, Word, and Excel skills- Ability to work under pressure.- Thorough, diligent, and compliant in approach- Attention to detail- Strong team player.
