**Head of Reward Delivery**

**About the role**

The Head of Reward Delivery is accountable for delivering the British Airways Reward Strategy and supporting the Director of Reward in designing and delivering all reward programmes.

A strong and creative leader who embraces the opportunities and challenges of a complex global and matrixed organisation, you’ll be experienced in developing a Reward team to deliver annual business as usual reward activity. Analytical in approach, you’ll use data and market information to challenge the status quo, inform, influence, and adapt strategies whilst maintaining regulatory requirements and mitigating risk.

**Key duties**
- Supports the design and management of global compensation and benefits programmes, ensuring they are competitive and fair, with full consideration to relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Conducts thorough market research and benchmarking exercises to continually evaluate and enhance the company's reward offering
- Proactively leads and manages global cyclical reward activity aimed at driving employee engagement and performance, using data-driven insights to optimize outcomes.
- Provides expert guidance and support to managers and employees on all matters related to rewards, including compensation structures, benefits packages, and performance incentives, fostering a culture of transparency and fairness.
- Stays abreast of relevant legislation and industry trends to ensure the company's reward practices remain compliant and competitive, promptly adapting strategies as needed to mitigate risks and capitalise on opportunities.
- Prepares comprehensive reports and recommendations for senior leadership

**About you**

**Experience**
- Proven leadership experience, managing and developing teams in a Reward or HR function (essential).
- Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits practices, including market analysis, job evaluation, and salary structures - either via recognised qualification or equivalent experience (essential).
- Experience in incentive program communication and implementation.
- Familiarity with relevant legislation and regulations, such as employment law and tax regulations.
- Experience of working in a complex global, matrixed business
- Understanding of Industrial Relations, including collective bargaining.

**Skills / capabilities**
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, able to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Evaluates project impacts to guide future practices.
- Exceptional communication and people management skills. Able to challenge organisational perspectives and drive improved decision-making.
- Understands the digital landscape and its impact on people and HR functions
