We’re Cooper Parry’s Corporate Finance team - a group of ambitious dealmakers focused on helping mid-market businesses grow, transform, and realise their potential.

This role sits within our **Deal Origination Team**, the engine behind our pipeline of opportunities. You’ll be at the forefront of discovering businesses and sectors ripe for M&A activity, helping us connect with the right people at the right time.

This role is based in our East Midlands office.

**This role will begin in September 2026 and is only suitable for placement students as part of an undergraduate degree. Interviews will take place on the 18th November, therefore this role will close on the 28th October.**

**About you...**:

- As an **Corporate Finance Placement Student**, you’ll dive into real projects from day one.

**This is more than just a job - it’s a launchpad. You’ll**:

- ** Identify and research high-potential businesses** using specialist tools and platforms, building target lists to fuel our Corporate Finance pipeline.
- ** Explore market trends and M&A opportunities** through webinars, expert publications, and original research to uncover sectors ripe for growth.
- ** Create insight pieces and support deal origination** by collaborating with the wider team, managing multiple priorities, and driving engagement through our LinkedIn presence
- You’ll be supported every step of the way - by peers, mentors, and even our Partners. We’ll give you structure, but also the freedom to grow at your own pace.
