The Priory Hospital Market Weighton is a CQC registered independent hospital. Our goal is to provide person centred, recovery focused care and treatment for males who experience mental illness. Situated in the attractive town of Market Weighton the service is ideally located for safe, structured and gradual integration into the local community. The purpose built hospital is an open service with the ability to lock the door to maintain service user safety. It can accommodate up to 15 individuals as they progress from admission to living semi independantly in the flat scheme within the hospital and finally to the residential service upon discharge.

The hospital is focused on supporting Healthcare Assistants to achieve their career goals and offers a Career Pathway that provides various opportunities for staff to become Registered Mental Health Nurses.

You will work as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team that provides a service that positively promotes recovery and independence. You will provide direct support under the supervision of qualified nurses to ensure that individuals are progressing towards their goals of community integration, strengthended daily living skills and improved insight into mental health and risk factors.
