Senior Project Manager, Leading Accountancy company, Hybrid Working

At least 5 years as Senior Project Manager within the professional services industry or similar with a good understanding of project management disciplines
- Experienced in softer skills, including the political and cultural aspects of project management
- Qualified in an industry recognised project management discipline or accreditation eg Prince 2, APMP, PMP, Agile or similar or can demonstrate experience in delivering projects using a structured approach
- Experience in assisting in tender processes and resultant supplier management
- Industry knowledge - understanding of a Professional Services Industry - desirable
- Awareness of key technologies and emerging IT trends
- Evidence of delivering change in complex and fast paced environments
- Excellent commercial awareness and drive to seek value options
- Experience working with external partners in delivering complex projects
- Excellent stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills

**Project Management**:

- Initiates and actively manages a portfolio of projects/programmes ranging in sizes, and including multi-streamed projects with significant strategic and/or commercial impact
- Initiates projects in a controlled manner clearly defining project scope, success criteria, dependencies, assumptions and constraints with stakeholders
- Monitors and communicates progress and status throughout the project delivery process
- Controls and manages the impact of changes to scope, budget and timescales through the agreed process
- Identifies and facilitates the resolution of issues recognising interdependencies and escalating where appropriate
- Identifies and mitigates risks recognising interdependencies and escalating where appropriate
- Works with project teams to secure both internal and external project resources and escalates when project resourcing issues arise
- Ensures that business deliverables/benefits of the IT Projects can be demonstrated.
- Works with the strategic/financial teams to facilitate/support the tender and procurement processes
- Experience delivering non IT Projects, particularly business change
- Promotes and actively sponsors the project management methodology within the IT Department
