A wonderful and vibrant special needs school in Canford Heath, Poole are actively recruiting Teaching Assistants to join their team

The school celebrates, supports and cares for children and young people aged 3-19 that have **Complex Learning Difficulties and Disabilities (CLDD)** and **co-existing conditions **like **Autism, ADHD** and **Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities.**

No previous experience is needed in a school environment however, you will need to have relevant experience working with children, young people, learning disabilities or SEND in paid employment, university placements or volunteer work.

Full-time availability is required for this position, as is the ability to begin the role immediately following a successful interview and completion of a satisfactory background check. You must be able to commit to the working hours of **Monday - Friday 09:00 - 15:35**. This is a temporary-to-permanent position.

You will support the educational and social development of students with diverse special educational needs through 1:1 assistance, adapting learning materials, and fostering an inclusive classroom environment. You will collaborate with your team to provide personalised and effective support. The school provides support in a holistic, therapeutic and child centred way.

**So, what do you need to be considered?**
- GCSE grade C or above in English & Maths (or equivalent)
- An approachable and empathetic personality.
- A real interest to work in special education.
- Previous experience with children, learning disabilities or SEND.
- Full-time availability (Monday-Friday).
- An outgoing and bubbly personality
