Teaching Personnel is currently collaborating with a well-established mainstream secondary school in Poole, who are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. The position is available for an immediate start or after Easter, depending on your availability.This role is perfect for someone passionate about education and eager to build a long-term career within a school environment. Should you thrive in this role, there is potential for the position to become permanent.Key Responsibilities:Supporting students aged 11-16, both 1:1 and in small groups.Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and time management.Encouraging students' academic and personal growth.Providing support for students' physical, social, and emotional well-being.Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.What We're Looking For:Previous experience working in an educational setting.Confidence working with children in small groups and on a 1:1 basis.Professionalism, reliability, and strong time management skills.Passion for supporting children's academic and emotional needs.A solid understanding of the secondary Maths and English curriculum.Enthusiasm, calmness, and motivation to make a positive impact.If successful, one of our specialist recruitment consultants will contact you to guide you through the registration process, which includes an interview, DBS application, and reference checks.As a member of Teaching Personnel, you'll benefit from:Competitive hourly rates starting from £13.45 (rate subject to experience, qualifications, and scale).A guaranteed pay scheme (subject to availability).Social and networking events.Pension contributions.CPD opportunities to support your professional development.Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
