**KYC Refresh Controls Team Leader**

As Barclays KYC Refresh Controls Team Leader you will play a critical role in the success of the KYC Maintenance/Refresh team through strong and effective management & leadership and the provision of skilled technical and analytical support, enabling the business to meet the Control Framework and protect the Banks licence to trade. As a leader you will manage a team of KYC Control Analysts who will be responsible for undertaking and completing the Controls and Regulatory tasks.

**What will you be doing?**:

- Providing high-value technical KYC Control support to the KYC Maintenance/Refresh function and ensuring our Controls and Regulatory tasks are completed
- Leading, managing, and motivating a high performing KYC Controls team with a focus on high standards, control execution and delivery
- Supporting the Head of KYC Issues Management in building a best in class ‘Go to’ team for expertise
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across KYC, Financial Crime, Compliance to champion or challenge policy and procedural changes
- Working collaboratively with KYC management on the interpretation of AML policy into KYC Operational procedures and Control Framework
- Supporting Head of KYC Issues Management to embed a strong control framework and embed a culture of risk management
- Providing focused training and coaching support in KYC Controls methodology and best practice to drive “Right First Time” performance
- Championing colleague engagement in your teams and across the wider business - ensuring the Barclays Purpose, Values and Behaviours are at the heart of everything we do

**What we’re looking for**:

- Understanding of a Control environment and maintaining a Rigour Assurance A framework and proven experience in KYC and Control roles
- Experience in working with key stakeholders e.g. Financial Crime, Audit and Rigour Teams
- Knowledge of Investment and Corporate Banking
- Practical experience in fulfilment of Controls and Checks

Northampton
Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we've been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997. We purchased the building from the landlord in early 2018 as a sign of our commitment to investment in Northampton. Plans to further develop this campus-style location are underway to allow for a real collaborative work environment. Based just off the A45 it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes.
