**Classroom Assistant (Part-Time)**:

- Location: Kidbrooke Village, London_

Are you passionate about education and helping children achieve their potential? Join the Kumon Kidbrooke Study Centre team as a **Classroom Assistant** and support students aged 4-16 in their learning journey through the Kumon Maths and English programmes.

**What You’ll Do**
- Assist small groups of up to 6 children with their Kumon Maths and English worksheets.
- Provide encouragement and guidance to help students build their skills and confidence.
- Ensure the smooth running of sessions by marking and organising work efficiently.
- Use Kumon's structured worksheets, both paper-based and online, to review and assign work for students each week.
- Engage with students and their families at the centre to discuss progress and areas for improvement.
- Provide one-on-one instruction to learners during their weekly centre visits.
- Foster a positive, motivating environment that inspires confidence and enthusiasm for learning.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.

**What We’re Looking For**
- **Education**: A Grade 6 or above in GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalent). Predicted grades will be accepted if results are expected within 3 months. A Level or equivalent qualifications are preferred.
- **Experience**: At least 1 year of experience working with children, such as tutoring, volunteering, teaching, or as a classroom assistant.
- **Skills**: Proven ability to communicate clearly with children and parents, and experience working with children of various ages, including those who may require additional support.
- **Age**: Applicants must be 16 years or older.
- **Location**: Must be able to travel to the Kumon Kidbrooke Study Centre in Kidbrooke Village.
- **Eligibility**: Right to work in the UK and a clean DBS certificate.

**Logistics of the Role**
- This is a part-time, sessional position requiring a minimum commitment of 4 hours across 2 days per week.
- **Working Days**: Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday.
- Weekday start time**:4:00 pm**:

- Saturday start time**:9:00 am**:

- **Hourly Pay**:

- **Under 18**: £6.40 to 7.30
- **Ages 18-20**: £8.60 to £9.00
- **Ages 21+**: £11.50
