Jackson Hogg is partnering with a global engineering consultancy recognized for its expertise in design, planning, and innovation. They are looking to recruit a **Finance Transformation Lead - Reporting & Automation** to support the ongoing transformation of their Shared Service Centre.
The **Finance Transformation Lead - Reporting & Automation** will play a pivotal role within their Shared Service Centre (SSC) in Newcastle, driving the development and execution of automation and reporting strategies. The role involves overseeing process automation implementations, managing service delivery, and ensuring high-quality reporting to support the company’s global finance transformation programme.
As the **Finance Transformation Lead - Reporting & Automation**, you will be responsible for creating and executing the strategy for reporting, automation, and service management, while ensuring the successful delivery of complex automation and reporting projects that contribute to business optimization across multiple regions.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Strategy Development**: Lead the creation and execution of the reporting, automation, and service management strategy for the team.
- **Performance Reporting**: Oversee the development and delivery of performance reports and metrics that align with business goals.
- **Automation Leadership**: Manage process automation projects, ensuring end-to-end delivery from concept to successful operational implementation.
- **Governance & Process**: Establish governance frameworks to ensure that all automation and reporting projects are delivered to high standards, on time, and in line with business objectives.
- **Dashboard Creation**: Develop operational dashboards to track and drive performance, enhancing decision-making and operational efficiency.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the Service Management Lead to ensure that processes are documented and data is leveraged to drive the success of global finance transformation initiatives.
**Key Requirements**
- **Experience**: Strong background in reporting, process automation, and business process improvement within back-office operations (Finance, HR, IT, or Shared Services).
- **Leadership**: Proven leadership and project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver successful outcomes.
- **Technical Expertise**: Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle/JDE), data visualization tools, and process automation technologies.
- **Business Partnering**: Exceptional business partnering skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- **Independence & Initiative**: Ability to manage complex projects independently while driving continuous improvement.
