A great new opportunity has been created with a huge client of mine based in Uxbridge. My client are a multinational brand who are growing rapidly and have created a Scheduling Manager to join them on a permanent basis. The role is managing a small team of Schedulers and the operation. If you're looking to join an organisation that has great benefits, fun culture and looks after their workforce - then please apply **Responsibilities**: - Manage a small team of Service Desk Schedulers - Manage all commercial and operational aspects of the Scheduling Department e.g. dispatching of Service Engineers, liaising with 3rd Party Engineer support, pre-planning of installations, preventative maintenance services in all service area, boiler inspectionsservices, resource planning - Checking and supervising of all jobs allocated to engineers and ensure this is scheduled efficiently and within SLA, by also looking at cross-regional working - Regular catch-ups with the Senior Engineers to ensure scheduling is running efficiently and effectively - Ensure customers receive clear notification on delayed attendance - Dealing with complaints concerning Scheduling/Attendance - Answering incoming calls and scheduling appointments - Ensuring the proper use of technology to ensure efficient planning and auditing - To support colleagues and engage pro-actively with all areas of the business - Be proactive in developing new ways and systems to meet changing and challenging operational needs of the Scheduling Team and becoming more efficient and customer orientated - Work closely with key Customers and ensure an added value service Experience Required - Experience of managing or leading a team - Strong experience in working in a Scheduling or Dispatching role - Proactive and self - motivated character - Good organisational and problem solving skills - Have initiative, motivation and a "can do" attitude - Good communication skills, especially with customer focus in mind - Good Microsoft Office skills - especially Excel, Outlook and Word
