Service Charge Project Officer

BDS are recruiting for a Service Charge Project Officer to contribute to the vision of delivering high-quality service charges to our clients residents.
Service charge officer specialising in projects, focusing on large schemes SVC or SVC Complex accounting.
You will be working alongside other Service Charge Officer peers to work consistently and share best practice. You will be proficient with excel and numbers and be confident with service charge compliance legislation.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Working with figures and spreadsheets
- Visiting residents at their properties
- Breaking down jargon and complicated processes and communicate these clearly to other operational staff and residents
- Understanding and experience of working compliantly with varying service charge regimes (fixed and variable).
- Experience of reading and understanding tenancy agreements, leases, deeds of transfer etc.
- Experience of building and managing effective relationships with a range of stakeholders, ideally in a matrix way across teams.
- Experience of effective analysis of complex data to make business decisions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong IT skills, including advanced Excel.
This is a Hybrid role working Monday to Friday 09:00 -17:00 with a minimum of 3 days in the office.
Rate of pay will be £22.24 PAYE

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
